W is for Winnie Foster

When Winnie finds and falls in love with Jesse Tuck, he tells her of his family's immortal secret. Will she drink the magic water that makes you live forever, or grow old and die in peace? Read TUCK EVERLASTING, a wonderful and magical book that has become a children's classic, to find out.

"It'd be nice to have a new name, one that's not all worn out from being called so much."

Do you like Winnie? Tell me some of your favorite W characters.

Sounds intriguing. I haven't heard of it before either. But I'll definitely be checking it out.

Never read it but saw a snippet of the movie. I'll just make my W be another children's classic. Winnie The Poo. Never been a fan but I'll admit he's not a bad guy...um bear.

I don't think I've read this one. Or seen the movie. Actually I didn't even know it was a book. Might have to go check it out, now that I know what it's about.

I read an excerpt of that book in one of my schoolbooks in 5th or 6th grade, and was so interested I got the book from the library. Later on, I rented the video.

I loved the book and the movie and loved Winnie's decision in the end.

I haven't read Tuck Everlasting, but I enjoyed the movie. A lot! Now I want to see if the library has it on hand. Sigh.
