L is for Lola Nolan

Lola, the quirky character from Stephanie Perkin's LOLA AND THE BOY NEXT DOOR, doesn't believe in fashion, she believes in costume. Her sparkly personality is hard to resist, but even harder to resist? --Cricket, the yummy boy next door. *sigh* Just read it, that is all.

"Life is too short to be the same person every day."

Do you like Lola? Tell me some of your favorite "L" characters.

Lupin (Remus) from The Harry Potter Books. Lola sounds cool and unique.

Lola and Cricket *swoon* Stephanie Perkins knows how to write fully developed characters. I loved this book.

Oh, what a great line. And I knew someone named Cricket, but it was a girl. Hard to picture a boy named Cricket. I'll have to check that out!

I like your description of Lola. It makes the book very tempting.

Love this book! I swooned over Cricket for about 300 pages, then immediately did it again when I finished, lol

Why are they redoing all the covers for these books? Sigh.

Hopefully no one remains the same person day in and day out.
