O is for Olivia Marx

Olivia is Grace's best friend in SHIVER by Maggie Stiefvater. She was just trying to help Jack phase into his human form when he bit her, thus making her a werewolf. She's a quiet and shy photographer who, because of her fear of needles and "the cure", fully embraces her wolf-self.

"I think I'm turning into one of those girls who likes uniformed types."

Do you like Olivia? Tell me some of your favorite "O" characters.

Okay I had to click this post for the picture alone, but now I'm interested in the story.

Still haven't read Shiver. Interesting choice today.

I remember Olivia, but it's been a while since I've read the trilogy. I'm reading Maggie Stiefvater right now-Hello, Raven Boys in your fancy sweaters. Why yes, I'll take a ride in your helicopter.

Olivia is great. I love Octavia from Hungar Games. Another great O character.

I love Ophelia, but that's of course from good old Shakespear. If I'd had a second daughter, I was going to name her Ophelia. :D

I have a character named Olivia in my books, too.

Can't say I blame her - not fond of needles either.

Ooh, how about spooky old Olivander from Harry Potter? You never do know what side he's really on, if he even takes sides.
