I just wanted to drop in and thank everyone for their encouraging comments on my IWSG meltdown post last week. I am doing so much better, and I knew I could count on my fellow bloggers to lift me up.
I'm no longer wallowing in self pity. In fact, not only did I get my writing mojo back, but a couple of days ago I wrote a scene that has become my most favorite scene I have ever written in any of my books. No kidding. I've reread it over and over again so many times it's embarrassing.
Isn't it amazing how fast we can go from the lowest low to the highest high just like that? Thanks for sticking with me in the ups and downs. *hugs*
What are you all up to this week?

Glad to hear you've got your mojo back!
You're welcome and congrats on the awesome scene. I have my cover reveal today! So excited!
Great to hear you are back on a high.
Funny how there's always one scene where we think we've nailed it. Mine's in my upcoming book and I tried not to read it too many times and spoil its awesomeness.
Glad to hear things are going better! Isn't amazing how different everything feels when the writing is flowing? :)
Writing, writing, writing. That's what it does to us and that's also what I'm up to this week. :)
So happy to hear you got your groove back! YAY!!!
Kyra-Thanks. Me too!
Sheena-Kay-You are all over the place today and it's gorgeous. Congrats!
Alex-Ooh. I can't wait to read it.
Madeline-I love that story-just-flowing-out-of-me feeling!
Johanna-So true. Good luck.
Jaybird-Thank you!
We all go through it. I'm so glad you were able to get it off your chest!
I love it when writers are honest on their blogs. I'm glad we could all be here for you and help you when you were down. You certainly do that for the rest of us! And I love that Coldplay song so much. Can't wait for Catching Fire!!
Love you!
Donna-Thanks. You all are great listeners. ;)
Katie-You helped me a ton last week, you know that right? <3 Thank you.
Jennie-*big hug*
About your favorite scene you wrote: Cool deal. I love those moments of absolute inspiration where the words just flow out into a deliciously perfect scene!
What I'm up to: Trying to figure out how to get cheap actors for my book trailer. I don't think the students at nearby schools look at the bulletin boards at all! All part of the planning for book publication...fun.
I love this song! It's a good one to write to.
That's so wonderful! I missed cherring you up last week, and I'm glad you're doing well now. That must be some scene! :D
Yes, up and downs are REAL for us writers. Glad you're on an up swing. I can't wait to read THE BEST SCENE EVER!
Laura-Ooh. Good luck with the trailer.
Rachel-I agree.
Emily-I think you were a little busy typing away like a madwoman you superwriter you. #60in6
Robin-I hope you like it. :)
I'm really happy you're doing better, Ilima! It was so good to see you on Thursday, and I do hope we can get together sometime soon. :)
