I have a fun tradition that when I finish drafting a book, my husband designs a pretend book cover for me. It motivates me to revise that sucker so that maybe one day it will be a real hold-it-in-my-hand book.
Well, revisions on this one are taking FOREVER because I have a couple other projects that have precedence right now. But that's okay. I'll get 'er done. Soon. Hopefully.
In the meantime, check out my pretend book cover for my work in progress, tentatively titled The Becoming Of Us:

Love that cover! And what a good husband. :)
That's nice of him to make you a motivational cover! Really cool colors.
I like your fake cover! It looks great. :) I wish I knew how to do stuff like that. (And make it look cool.) ;)
One of the best covers EVER--real or fake! Your husband is a sweetie and a genius!
That cover is wonderful.
I love it! How fun!
Very pretty. Too bad I already have a cover artist. :)
Oo I like it! Don't you love having a cover. I've done that with almost all my stories and it's so great.
Your hubby does good work.
And thanks for signing up for my blogfest! :)
