Nothing Is Impossible

Something exciting happened for me a week ago. Something I've been working really, really hard towards for a very long time--though I won't go into it here. But through all the excitement and relief, tears and congratulations, the thing that touched me most was when my husband turned to my children and, while pointing at me, said, "Do you see that, kids? This is what happens when you put your mind to something and work hard for it. You can do anything you can dream, and your mom is proof of that." Awww.

I want to leave you with one of my favorite songs, in hopes that you too are inspired to reach for your dreams. Because maybe I'm just a little girl, but I'm a little girl with great big plans.

What are your biggest dreams?

Yaaaaay. I love these moments, Ilima! I'm so proud/excited for you. The working and pushing seems like such the majority of our process, it's neat when good comes from all the hard work!!!

My dream is becoming a professional film critic for one of the major publications. And I'm still working on it. It takes forever, but I'm not going to give up. I'll get there with determination and getting myself out there.
