K is for KISS ME, the version by The Fray. Yes, another song about kissing. I write YA fiction after all. ;) I find that covers to songs I love tend to be more acoustic/mellow and lend themselves well as music to write to.

Wow, wow, wow. I've never heard this version before - I like it better than the original!
Wow. This is totally different than Sixpence None the Richer's version. That's sorta bouncy and fun, and this is so much more contemplative.
I think I like this one better, but it'd probably depend on my mood. For writing inspiration though, this one definitely.
I remember when this song was super popular. This version is great. :)
