Haha. I love the cute boys :)
Hmmm... my favorites. Music. Must have music when I write.
And diet coke. I mean, water. Water because I'm trying to drink less diet coke this year :)
Hmm, interested in the favorite crit partner.
I don't know if I have a favorite book or author right now. It's so hard.
I also like cute boys. I think we're all cute girls in our hearts, which is why cute boys makes sense to us.
Right?
Kelley-do you ever sing to yourself while you write, you know, be your own muse with those singing chops of yours? :)
Emily-you are cute outside of your heart too.
I love a good can of Sprite and some Britney Spears music when I write. Her stuff if just too dang catchy to deny. :) New Follower!

My Book Giveaway!
Mountain Dew is a must have for moi. And my favorite thing to read about is humor. Anything that makes me giggle is awesome! :)
And I totally thought I followed you already. So sorry for the delay. *smacks forehead*
I love the quote! One of my (many) favorite quotes is:
You can never go down the drain.
-Mr. Rogers.
Was the laughing because you can't pick favorite critique partner, or because you don't have one? Are you looking for one?
Oooh that is a beautiful cover! I absolutely love the dress and the backdrop.
Hmm, I think my favorite snack for writing is pretzels. Or chocolate. Actually, chocolate is my favorite all the time.
Vicki-thanks for following! It sounds like we all enjoy a good can of that fizzy stuff.
Cassie-Humor is so hard for me to write (nobody gets it), so I can appreciate a good laugh from books too. Thanks for the follow.
Rachel-Haha. That's a great quote too! There are five of us in our crit group, all of them amazing and all of them my favorite. :)
Aubree-How about chocolate covered pretzels? :) I think chocolate is the answer to everything. Thanks for following.
First-WOW, your website is so gorgeous. I love the trees. My favorite thing to write about is relationships. Not just boy/girl but siblings, friends, etc.
Jenny-Thanks for following and for the website love. My husband built it and I think it's gorgeous too. Relationships ARE fun to write about-agreed.
I loved Speaker for the Dead (hated--loathed the next two books), but I really liked the Bean series. Can't wait for the new one coming out this month!
My cold caffeine of choice is Diet Coke with Lime. It surprises me how hard it is to get in outside of Utah. Grrr
Donna-Seriously. It should've been Ender's Game, Speaker, then stop. I go for the Diet Vanilla Coke, myself. :)
I go for a diet Dr. Pepper. Thanks for following me. I love the line about the favourite critique partner.
That cover is gorgeous! And one of my CPs said my latest WIP is a tiny bit Shannon Hale-ish, and that I should read her and Gail Carson Levine and Jessica Day George, so I've been reading lots of their books.
My favorite thing to write about and read about are cute boys too :)
I bought Impossible based on the cover, it is gorgeous, but it has been sitting on my bookshelf for a very long time.
I absolutely love your background.
Welcome new followers!
Ladonna-What's up with diet soda? It looks like writers have a huge chunk of that market. :)
Jess-I love all of those authors-your WIP must be wonderful. I'm rereading Goose Girl right now with my daughter. Try Jessica Day George's "Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow." I read that one out loud to my kids, and every day would sneak read ahead while they weren't watching.
Theresa-Go and read it right now. You'll love it. It's one of my favorites.
Hahaha. Carrots and celery. And Shannon Hale is wonderful!
My favorite book cover would have to be The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (I have many favorites, actually, but that's the first one to come to mind). And I like writing unreliable narrators.
Kate-I bought The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer because of that cover. It IS gorgeous.
Agreed. Impossible has to have one of the best covers of all time.
Who are we kidding here? I'm your favorite crit partner! Sheesh.
My favorite author keeps changing, so does my favorite novel. Sometimes I read a sequel and think...what?! Did I really love the first book? What happened here?
My favorite time to write is early in the morning...all alone with no distractions. But it can be alone, I'd happily write anytime.
Write about, read about = cute boys. Totally.
Katie-I tried to design a cover for my book based on Impossible's cover. NO COMMENT on the crit partner. :) Cute boys rock.
Mmmm...cute boys. My favorite "writing" thing is the first few weeks when the story is pouring out of your head at breakneck pace and you can't stop thinking about your characters. Love that feeling! Kind of like falling in love.
love that lewis caroll quote. never heard it before.
Karen-It IS like falling in love. Ooooh. I like that analogy.
Aguilar-Isn't it funny?
