I will (Never) Again do that

Happy book birthday to Theresa Paolo and her novel, (NEVER) AGAIN! Today I'm participating in a bloghop to celebrate the release. Here are the rules:

Liz, the main character of (Never) Again got her heart broken and refused to ever open it up to anyone again. We all know how that goes though. How many times have you swore off something only to step right back into it? So for this bloghop I want to know what it is you swore you would never do again and then wound up doing.

I decided to make a short list, since my never again moments seem to abound:

* drink Diet Coke
* have another baby
* go grocery shopping with my kids
* drive downtown
* put up Christmas lights
* move
* cook Thanksgiving meal
* ride on a plane with a baby
* live where there's snow
* eat after 9pm
* get on a roller-coaster
* help my child do math homework
* write a book

I could go on and on, but no matter what I swear off, I always seem to jump back in. Oh, well, such is life. How about you? What's something you swore you'd never do again and wound up doing?

Congrats again to Theresa. You can find out more about her book here.

Luckily my kids are in school so I can usually grocery shop alone. But every once in a while, I think. I should bring my 6 yr old daughter to Target with me to help pick out .

And every time I end up regretting it and saying I won't do this again. But I do.

I'm doing this bloghop too, but on Thursday. I have too much blogging happening this week. I've sworn off many of those same things. Congrats to Theresa and her book. Great cover!

Great list. Of course, mine mirrors yours, all the way down the list. :)

Also, I'm loving your new picture. I adore the long hair and the smile. Just beautiful!!

LOL I think our lists are pretty similar, especially the cooking turkey part. Which is why my hubby does it for Thanksgiving and my mom does it for Christmas. :)

Write a book? LOL... I think we've all prolly thought it at least. And of course cook Thxgiving dinner!! That is such a job. I remember my mom saying it every year when I was a kid. lol

Congrats to Theresa!

Hahaa, WOW! What a list! Man, I can completely imagine--being in the throes of one of those things and thinking "That's IT, I will NEVER do this again." And then you find yourself doing it again. Cooking the dinner, shopping with the kids, riding with a baby, and putting up lights in particular.

The book one is funny, though. Even when writing books is terrible, terrifying, and miserable, I never think "I'll never do this again, EVER." Though I can completely understand why some people would feel that way! :D

I love the list! The Christmas lights one makes me laugh! I can only imagine what happened to make you say that. Other than it's just a lot of hard work. Those lights are not easy!

Thanks for joining the hop!
